Invasion: California is fiction about a future I hope none of us ever has to face. I suspect that in a future war of such scale, millions of soldiers would march to battle once again. In America, that would be the distance from the East Coast to Kansas City, Missouri. In terms of depth, the final objectives were just short of the Ural Mountains.
